Payal Parida
Payal Parida is a dancer, teacher and choreographer, who is currently a student at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. She will be graduating with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Entrepreneurship, along with a certification in Sales from the Ross School of Business. She has performed at various venues, including the Konark Music & Dance Festival in Orissa in 2017. She works as treasurer for the non-profit organization, We Are Queens, and is also an Entrepreneurship Minor Peer Advisor at the University of Michigan. Payal virtually choreographs and teaches for the Bollyfusion dance company Rangeela Dance Company based in Seattle, Washington. Payal also teaches and choreographs at her University as well as at her local dance studio, Steps Dance Center. Payal's goal as an artist is to make a positive impact with her work, while also fighting for more diversity in the arts as a South Asian woman.
